Terms of Service

Last updated: October 10, 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of thesalesvantage.com (the “Site”), operated by [PLACEHOLDER: legal entity name and registered address], trading as SalesVantage (“SalesVantage”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. If you are using the Site on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Our services

SalesVantage is a contingency recruitment agency that helps companies in every industry hire sales professionals in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.

  • The Site provides general information about our services and a way to contact us. Nothing on the Site is an offer to provide services.
  • Recruitment services for clients are provided only under a separate written client agreement or terms of business (the “Client Agreement”), which sets out fees, payment terms, the replacement guarantee and other commercial terms. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a Client Agreement, the Client Agreement prevails.
  • Contingency basis: unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees are payable only when a candidate introduced by us is hired. Exact terms are confirmed in the Client Agreement.
  • Replacement guarantee: any reference on the Site to a guarantee (e.g. a “90-day replacement guarantee”) is a summary only. The guarantee applies solely on the conditions set out in the Client Agreement.
  • Candidates: we do not charge candidates any fee for finding them work. We do not guarantee that any candidate will be offered or secure a role, and we act as an employment agency/recruiter, not as the employer.

3. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to: – submit false, misleading or someone else’s information through the contact form or otherwise; – use the Site to send spam, unsolicited promotions or malicious content; – attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or related systems, or interfere with its operation (including through bots, scraping, or denial-of-service attacks); – copy, reproduce or exploit Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission; – use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law, including data protection, anti-spam and employment laws.

4. Contact form and communications

Messages submitted through the Site’s contact form are processed by a third-party form processor (Web3Forms) and delivered to us by email. By submitting the form you confirm the information is accurate and that you are authorised to share it. How we handle that information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Submitting a form does not create a client relationship or any obligation on either party.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, the SalesVantage name and logo, the “Sales-First Hiring Method” description, graphics and layout — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own internal, non-commercial reference. Any other use requires our prior written consent.

6. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to, or rely on, third-party websites and services (for example, LinkedIn, Web3Forms and our hosting provider, Hostinger). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, services or privacy practices.

7. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, for general information only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the Site’s accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. See also our Disclaimer.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: – we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site; and – our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site and these Terms is limited to USD $100 (or the equivalent in GBP or CAD).

Liability arising from services is governed by the Client Agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory consumer rights you may have.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SalesVantage and its owners, employees and contractors from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Equal opportunity

We are committed to equal opportunity and do not discriminate against candidates on the basis of any characteristic protected by applicable law (including, in the UK, the Equality Act 2010; in the US, federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws; and in Canada, federal and provincial human rights legislation). We expect clients to act likewise in their hiring decisions.

11. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we collect and use personal information and cookies, and form part of these Terms.

12. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [PLACEHOLDER: governing law — e.g. England and Wales / State of Delaware / Province of Ontario, matching the legal entity’s place of registration], and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except that nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection of mandatory laws or the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live where local law gives you that right.

14. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. These Terms (together with the documents referred to in them) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the Site.
