This Cookie Policy explains how [PLACEHOLDER: legal entity name and registered address], trading as SalesVantage (“we”, “us” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on thesalesvantage.com (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and scripts that read or store information on your device. “Session” cookies are deleted when you close your browser; “persistent” cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. “First-party” cookies are set by the Site; “third-party” cookies are set by another domain.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies in the following categories:

We do not currently use cookies for advertising unless and until stated in the table below and consent is obtained where required.

3. Contact form (Web3Forms)

Our contact form is processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form processor. Submitting the form sends the information you enter to Web3Forms, which forwards it to us by email. Web3Forms may use technologies such as spam-protection checks (e.g. hCaptcha or a honeypot field) that process limited technical data. We do not use the form to set advertising cookies. 5. Your choices

  • Cookie banner: where required (including for visitors in the UK and EEA), we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can accept, reject or customise categories, and change your choice at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the Site footer [PLACEHOLDER: enable once a consent tool is installed].
  • Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Site works. Guidance: aboutcookies.org / allaboutcookies.org.
  • Analytics opt-out: for Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): where we use non-essential cookies, we honour GPC signals as an opt-out for that browser, as required by California law.

6. Legal notes by region

  • UK and EEA: under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the EU ePrivacy Directive, together with the UK GDPR / EU GDPR, we obtain prior opt-in consent for non-essential cookies. Consent can be withdrawn as easily as it was given.
  • United States (incl. California CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising through cookies. If that changes, we will provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link and honour opt-out preference signals.
  • Canada (PIPEDA): we rely on your informed consent, which may be implied for non-sensitive, essential and basic analytics cookies where reasonable, and express consent where required. You can withdraw consent using the options in Section 5.

7. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when we change the cookies or tools we use. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version.
